Volunteers in action on the route

VOLUNTEER!

Volunteering for the Worst Day of the Year Ride is a great way to support the CCC and to have a fun time. This quirky, unique ride is what it is in part because of volunteers like you.

90 volunteers are needed throughout the course for a wide variety of positions. Your support ensures a successful ride raising funds to support the Community Cycling Center.

HOW TO REGISTER TO VOLUNTEER

FREE RIDES AND MORE

Volunteering is just plain fun. But, as an extra added bonus, you get a t-shirt, free lunch, and some positions allow for you to also ride the course.

Check out the position descriptions below to see which ones allow you to ride free. If it says Y, part that means you can ride a portion of the course. You'll be generally riding from your position to the finish line. You will get to ride at least four miles of the course, and in most cases longer. Depending on your position, you may or may not pass open rest stops, but you are welcome to join us at the finish line party which goes until 4:00 pm.
