FREE RIDES AND MORE

Volunteering for Worst Day of the Year Ride is just plain fun. But, as an extra added bonus, all volunteers will receive:

  • A free Worst Day of the Year Ride t-shirt
  • A ticket into the Finish Line Party with homemade soups and fresh bread
  • Most positions allow you to ride part or all of the ride for free
  • Some volunteer positions will give you a Free Pass to The Night Ride on July 10th (look for the *)

Check out the position descriptions below to see which ones allow you to ride free. If it says Y, part that means you can ride a portion of the course. You'll be generally riding from your position to the finish line. You will get to ride at least four miles of the course, and in most cases longer. Depending on your position, you may or may not pass open rest stops, but you are welcome to join us at the finish line party which goes until 4:00 pm.
