We release riders in waves, meaning a few riders at a time. You like sleeping in? No problem. You can show up late and you'll get out on course smoothly without much waiting.

Urban riders will not be allowed on course before 10am.
Please choose a course that fits your riding ability and allows you to finish in time for the course closure. PLEASE NOTE THE REST STOP CLOSURE TIMES LISTED IN THE ABOVE SCHEDULE. If you are still on course after 3:00, you will miss lunch and you forfeit all course support.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
If you're riding the Challenge Loop, it will take 3-5 hours, on average.
If you're riding the 18-mile, it will take 2-4 hours on average.
- A costume!
- A decorated bike!
- A bike lock for securing your bike at the finish line
- Clothes appropriate for the weather
- Money for beer + wine at the finish line party (optional, of course)
- A water bottle or two
- Personal snacks if you have specific dietary needs. Some rest stops will have fruit. Others will have cookies and doughnuts. The finish line has soup and fresh foccacia bread with a vegetarian option.
All routes start and finish at the Lucky Lab, 915 SE Hawthorne.
The entrance is on the corner of SE Madison and SE 9th Avenue in Portland, just one block off Hawthorne. Parking is limited to the side streets. Bike parking is provided.
The Lucky Lab is served by the #4 and #14 busses.
